Josiah Stephan, M.S
Josiah Stephan is a native of South Florida. He graduated with his Master’s in Counselor Education (2014) from Florida International University and Bachelors in Family Youth and Community Sciences (2011) from the University of Florida. He has taught at South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary (SFBC&TS) since 2014 and currently acts as the Chair of Behavioral Science. Josiah is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the American Counseling Association (ACA). He serves as part of the leadership team of Christian Love Fellowship Church, and is the founder of Love Invasion, a ministry that focuses on empowering young revivalists in South Florida to reach communities with God’s love. Josiah likes to spend time with his family and stay current by reading Biblical and Counseling books and journals
Lashay Stokes is a graduate of the University of South Florida where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in English. She has over 5 years experience as a classroom teacher and has worked in the non-profit sector for over 7 years. Currently, LaShay works a contractor writing grants and securing funding for non-profit organizations.
She is married to Ruben Stokes, and together they have 4 children.
Rev. Dr. Oscar Chestnut
In June 2005, Oscar Chestnut graduated with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Pastoral Ministries and Counseling. He received the 2005 Outstanding Volunteer award, the Excellence in Teaching award and the 2005 President’s Award. Also, the 2007 Community Service Award for commitment to the Light Bearer’s Alumni Association of South Florida Bible College.
He is the founder and former president Chestnut Insurance Agency, the Senior Pastor of New You Ministries, his positive influence and leadership continues to make him visible in the surrounding community, thereby impacting countless lives. He is a member of the South Broward Ministerial Alliance, Koinonia Fellowship of Churches, The PRESS Coalition and support African Leadership which is a Christian education and development organization that trains pastors and church leaders in Africa and funds relief and development projects in their communities.
He is the author of a book titled Less Religion More Spirituality. His perspective on all that he has done this far is “All praises goes to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is by God’s grace and mercy.”
Pastor Chestnut is married to his wife of 26 years, Joanna Gibson Chestnut. He has two sons Timothy (Stacey) and Gregory Chestnut. He is also the proud grandparent of eight, and great grandparent of three.
Sir Lawrence Lee-Conley, MBA
Sir Lawrence Lee-Conley , a native of Nashville, TN, is an ambitious young professional who has legacy of emphasizing leadership empowerment and professional development. He is the oldest of two siblings. After attending Pearl-Cohn Business Magnet Comprehensive High School, Sir Lawrence attended and graduated from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. While he attended NCA&TSU, Sir Lawrence headed several student organizations. After matriculating at NCA&TSU, Sir Lawrence acquired his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Global Business Leadership from JWU-Providence. Sir Lawrence will be receiving his Juris Doctorate from Charlotte School of Law and looks to begin his career in International commercial real estate development. Sir Lawrence’s hobbies are traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, working out, volunteering to assist with the underprivileged, and sports.
Born in sunny South Florida, Jennifer Miller has had her share of professional industry experience from Food Retail Management to Music and Education. She is known for her creativity in helping businesses proactively impact the community. She is the former president and current advisor to Kappa Knu Theta Christian Sorority, and the Community Director of the Starbucks Women’s Development Network. Her passion includes Children and Families and political innovation. She has been married for 9 years ( to Thomas Miller) and currently resides in the Nashville metropolitan area.
